Our breakfast was above average and with a lovely view, the staff was friendly professional. Overall the room was a nice size with a wonderful view and comfortable bed, as for instance. The location was secure, not too far from Canal Walk Shopping Centre.

The hotel is incredibly beautiful with caring staff with friendly staff members. Central location by simply walking across the bridge. Great food in the restaurants such as La Rocca, located 15 min away. Particularly nice views of the lake from well-maintained and well-stocked rooms.

Lots of good options for meal. Beautifully decorated, romantic rooms complete with an amazing view, Fridge and great facilities. Secure location, a short walk to everywhere.

The hotel was in a central setting to the shopping centre. My room with kitchenette, a nice view plus a self catering touch was a nice size, had good night's sleep.

I must comment on its central location - it was ideal. Will be back when I travel to Cape Town.

Incredibly beautiful hotel in an incredible position near canal walk shopping center. Private parking, good service. Everything nice. Location right by the market as well as lush manicured gardens adorned with palm trees.

Service delivery exceeded expectations. The location is convenient to the mall and casino. The hotel has a charming Spanish/Italian design. The room was comfortable and had a luxurious bathtub.

My stay was pleasant at the hotel, only the incident with the General Manager that really displeased me and my partner.

However my stay at Protea Hotel Island Club started off very unpleasant. The General Manager of the hotel called my room after an hour that my partner and I arrived. She confirmed that they never received the booking via Booked.net I was not sure at that time what to do. The day that my partner and I stayed over at Protea Hotel, I called the hotel personally after 3pm to confirm the receipt of my booking. At 4.05pm I received a call from one of the ladies that works at hotel reception confirming that she received the confirmation of the booking.

When I am in Cape Town, I like staying here. This hotel is nice with outstandingly accommodating employees who stood out with her friendly and efficient manner. The property offers great location near to the mall behind and V & A Waterfront and Canal Walk and the Restaurants & shops. Milnerton district is worth seeing. As for me the food is fine, and they have plenty of meals.

Magnificent hotel, exceptionally comfortable bed, above average breakfast. Lots of options for breakfast in the dining area. Spacious room with an open bathroom. Brilliant views, marvellous location near to the canal walk shopping center. And short walk to restaurants and offices and the mall and restaurants and the bridge connecting island view to Canal Walk.

the location was secure - only a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go. the room of this place was a nice size with great balcony views. everything here was superb, we will be back.

I had a fantastic stay at Island Club Hotel & Apartments. The location was perfect, with the Canal Walk Centre just a short walk away. My room was spacious and clean, complete with a kitchenette and a lovely balcony overlooking the canal. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning. The proximity to places of interest like Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront was also a major plus. I highly recommend this hotel.

Surprisingly , after 12 hours flight, I was asked to be transferred to anther hotel for the first night and come back for the other 4 nights, that made me cancel my two first days" arrangements as I was not informed prier to my arrival in Cape Town.

Such great overall experience. Magnificent hotel with spacious rooms and an open bathroom. Above average and great breakfast with plenty of delicacies and absolutely kind staff.

Really nice stay, as always. Stunningly beautiful and magnificent hotel located in a very nice area right by V & A Waterfront and Canal Walk as well as Canal. Excellent location with parking onsite.
